Creating collaborative programming to meaningfully improve people’s lives, When Charity Works strives to become an innovative philanthropic leader by providing substantial, sustainable assistance to Nevada communities in need.
Our Purpose
We provide essential collaborative program development and support services, uniting charitable organizations with their communities, and lessening the burden of government.
We strive to identify and meet specific needs of under served families where no current services exist. Our programs are designed to be replicated in any community across America.
Our Leadership
Lupe Soto PhD, CEO
Lupe Soto is currently a business leader in the poker industry. However, she has an extensive 20 year background in the non-profit sector. She has held positions as Executive Director of Social Services for Salvation Army, Director of Social Services for Planned Parenthood Prenatal Division, Executive Director of the Chula Vista Community Collaborative as well as consulted and implemented many program designs for various communities. She is currently involved in charitable event planning and collaborative program development for direct services.
Gina Intrieri Trampusch, COO
Renown for her philanthropic spirit, lighthearted personality, unrelenting determination and selfless drive, Gina is best known for uniting communities for a cause. She co-founded the Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Throw Down, and is credited for its huge success as the most attended charity poker event in history. Other significant achievements are being presented with back to back Super Bowl rings from her service as a Neuromuscular Therapist to the SF 49ers and the AZ Cardinals football teams. Her behind the scenes, in the trenches work ethic exemplifies the “not words, but deeds” adage she lives by.
